Harry Edwards is the first member of the Edwards family mentioned in the ASA storyline. He first appears in Of Money and Monsters, in which he is presented as an ex-smuggler who has been blackmailed into picking up his old profession. He is good friends with the Maqui Aliens, and his co-pilot is a Marqui named Martin. Of Money and Monsters is Harry’s only appearance; however, he is mentioned once more by his granddaughter, Mavis Edwards, in explanation of her love for the Marqui people.
Harry Edwards is notable for being the first in the ASA storyline to work with an Alien, and his story is the first to have an alien character.
