Hoshea Whitmer (Ileek of Earth) is a character from the ASA era of the Stelloid wars. First mentioned in the story Hidden Death, Hoshea makes an explosive entrance by slaying the first Stelloid (with aid from Shane Melniz, the Solite). Hoshea’s reputation only grows from there, as he coordinates the first victory of the Stelloid Wars. Personally killing several Stelloids before destroying their nest. Hoshea’s other name, Ileek, comes from this story and is used throughout the others. The best translation is ‘Star Killer’, pointing out his ‘murder’ of Perfect Tone the Stelloid and others.
Hoshea Whitmer also comes to Captain James Ashen’s rescue in the story Outer Rim. He is mentioned in several stories and gains quite a reputation.
Hoshea Whitmer has a long-standing rivalry with the infamous General Clear Note, companion of the deceased Perfect Tone. Clear Note attempts to hunt down and kill Hoshea multiple times throughout the stories.
